Marine Gas Oil

Marine Gas Oil (MGO) describes marine fuels that consist exclusively of distillates and falls within the DMA category. Marine Gas Oil usually consists of a blend of various distillates. Marine Gas Oil is similar to diesel fuel. MGO is based on the lighter distillates and has a low viscosity so as to operate at a control the temperature. Emissions from MGO contains significantly less particulate matter and soot as will as possessing low sulphur emissions.
