How is the new Euro 5 diesel different from the Euro 2M diesel that is currently retailing?

The specifications of Euro 5 diesel and Euro, 2M diesel are similar, except for the reduction on sulphur content by a factor of more than 50 i.e from 500ppm to less than 10ppm.

What is biodiesel?

Biodiesel (or FAME) is a type of diesel fuel that is made from vegetable oil rather than fossil crude oil. FAME stands for Fatty Acid Methyl Ester and is produce via chemical transformation of vegetable oils into their corresponding esters. In Malaysia, the government specifies use of Biodiesel derived from palm oil.
